Even though how much effort we put in eliminating junk foods and high-sugar beverages in our diet, we still end up eating them. It's really hard to do that specially if there are mouth watering advertisements.

However, we still can do that by means of looking for some alternative foods that can satisfy our hunger and and cravings. Here are the list we've made just right for you.

  • Instead of indulging in fries and chips, why not make your own? You can beat the old French fries from McDonalds or KFC by making your own veggie fries. You can use carrots, yam beans and cucumbers. And I assure you, they taste better.
  • You can also make your own potato chips as an alternate for your junk potato foods that has already been processed and added with unwanted MSG, salth and other ingredients.
  • Replace your ordinary white breads with zero-transfat bread or wheat breads. This way you can eliminate the unwanted fats and bad nutrients. There are a couple of zero-transfat breads nowadays in every store so just look for them.
  • If you want to have a light meal but makes you feel full, eat rice congee or arroz caldo. It will definitely make you feel full but you are actually eating less.
  • Instead of the regular beef or chicken burger, why not try the tastier veggie burgers. You are sure to have the taste of burgers while enjoying the benefits of a vegetable and avoiding the cholesterol and fats of meat.
  • If you are craving for a soda, Diet Coke or Pepsi is not the other. You can either go for a Calamansi / Kalamansi / Calamodin juice.
  • Have water as your primary beverage. It do not just help you quench your thirst, it actually helps in cleansing your body.

There are many ways you can help your body achieve the kind of health you want. You can be slim in a matter of days but always remember that it takes effort to achieve it.
