When I was still a kid, my father as a doctor all of us to get our monthly weight and height. He is always strict when it comes to health issues. Whenever he noticed us losing weight, he would always give us give us vitamins or asked our mother to cook healthier foods. That only stopped when I entered the sixth grade. It was in 1998 that the government issued a new way of determining whether the person is underweight, overweight, obese or just normal. Before, the only way you can say a person is in any of the said weight category is by determining the gender, the age, height and weight of a person. They used a table where desirable weight and height for a particular age is written. The new method, however, do thing differently.
