Some people are prescribed to lower their sodium intake. SO here is a plan that will help you achieve what your physicians or dietitians have told you. But remember, this is a low-sodium plan and not no-sodium, if you are prescribed to take down sodium completely, this plan is not for you. Breakfast - Cereals (optional with fruit) , cheese, milk and toast
Lunch - Burger/Grilled chicken and vegetable salad
Dinner - Turkey/Tuna sandwich, fruit juice, fresh fruits
Snack - Buns with butter or fresh citrus fruits
The plan is good for you if: - You are aware that you have hypertension
- You want to avoid having hypertension
- You want to lower your blood pressure
- You want to reduce sodium but retain normal carbo intake

There are some people who needs a lot of fiber in their body. They are people who are having a hard time digesting the food they eat, in which case, they need fiber rich food. Fiber also maintains the smoothness of your intestinal walls therefore preventing constipation and other stomach related problems. Fiber is also good for loosing weight because it makes you feel full thus, making you feel not hungry for longer period. Breakfast - Corn bran cereals, roasted almonds, non-fat milks, wheat bread
Lunch - Smoked/Raw/Salad fish or sushi, bran flakes, citrus fruits, carrot juice
Dinner - Beef with whole wheat pasta, spinach, fruits, muffins
Snacks - Dried apricots, prunes or raisins, berries and nuts.
The plan is best for you: - If you are below the 25 grams fiber consumption per day.
- If you are having constant intestinal problems.
- If you want to gain the weight loss effects of fiber rich foods.
The plan is not good for you: - If you are not fond of eating fruits and vegetables.
- If you want frequent but smaller meals.
- If you are looking for a low carbohydrate plan. (Most fiber rich foods are also high in carbo)
