FatLossPro.com is dedicated to provide free information on diet, weight loss, fitness and other health related issues. We also publish genuine review of various diet supplements and weight loss programs. Users can comment on articles and reviews we publish. Additionally we also accept and encourage reviews from customers.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
The weight loss industry is filled with 1000's of fake and dangerous diet pills and weight loss supplements. Everyday there is a breaking News in diet industry. This often confuses people and they become victim of scams and deceptive businesses.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We initially launched small review site back in 2004. But after seeing it's success and growth we decided to launch bigger and better site. As a result, in 2006 we launched brand new website with new Domain name. Our first website still exists, but it's not very active.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Well, the website name should be easy to remember, easy to spell, and should be relevant to the topic!
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Most of the other website publish fake reviews and promote fake products. We publish genuine reviews and useful, unique content.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
The site growing fast. So we'll keep it for as long as possible.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Will hire more people and industry experts to provide content and web promotion.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Would be more than happy. Yes, we are able to keep up with the demand.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
There wasn't any unexpected cost. However, we had to delete community forum after it was heavily hit by forum spammers.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Dealing with search engines and keeping our site upto date with industry trend has been a real challenge.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
We are using Wordpress Blog platform. So the site get promoted automatically without much effort.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It's been more than 3 years now. We'll keep is for as long as possible.
Future plans?
Adding very interactive forums with zero spam and providing online diet journal for our visitors. We are also planning to add many tools and free downloadable guides in eBook format.
