The Price Of Going Green

By Dietician at 05/02/08 20:37

For the past few years, we have been dealing with a lot of "going-organic, going-green" changes. This move mainly concerns us because of the rapid increase of health issues obesity. And adding the issue about McDonald's diet craze adds more to our longing to go green.

I am no vegetarian nor vegan nor an eater of specific food. I am an all-eat open-to-all-foods dieter. That may sound hilarious but its true. You ask why? Because going organic is very much expensive.

Although eating all organic and natural products is definitely good for our health and our environment, it is not very good for our wallet. I don't know if this is also applicable to European countries, but as far as I know, the situation in America and Asia are similar when it comes to the pricing of green and organic products.

When I last checked the market, a regular bottle of milk cost around $0.40 and the cost of an all-natural milk is more than double, $1.10. And even the diet pills are far more expensive than those tablets for headaches and body problems. Looks like the cost of dieting is more expensive than those who really can save us from danger impromptu.

I am not suggesting any, but I say regulate your health and regulate your budget wisely. You do not need to go all out for something if it is not within your budget range. If its not healthy for your wallet, nowadays, that is also considered not healthy for yourself, ha ha. We cannot afford to spend a lot of money just for dieting, just for staying fit and sexy.

As a good mentor said, "Visualization is the key". Think of a way for you not to eat that food, think of something that will make you disgust with that certain food, eventually you will find yourself loosing weight in no time, ha ha!

We can always choose to do regular exercises and eating raw foods. I believe they are the best way to keep yourself healthy at a low price.
