The site contains relevant tips for losing weight and keeping it off.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes a year ago, and decided to put together a site that contains real life tips and recipes.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I launched the site 2 years ago, and built it up to be awesome site only to lose it due to a poor backup system. I am now in the process of rebuilding the site from scratch

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I thought it really tells you what I am about.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I hope people find it easier to navigate without as many ads to get in the road of the content.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Just to keep it and try out various SEO technics to build the traffic back up. It makes a little money from the Adsense.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Not really well, so far I have invested my time twice for one success.

Oh well, at least I learnt from my experiance.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would pay someone else to add the content.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Since my site is really an information site if it got really big it wouldn't effect me directly.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

I had a big backup headache early on, but now I keep regular backups

What has been your biggest challenge?

Finding the right balance between work and home life.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Link building would be the best recipe for success.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is alot harder than I originally thought.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I would keep this site alive due to it being my first real website. I just can't help be passionate about it.

What other things are you interested in?

I am currently in the process of putting together a business based on the knowledge I have built in SEO while building this site.
